Please join the CO Food Systems Advisory Council for a Listening Session on Urban Agriculture
The Economic Development Subcommittee of the Colorado Food Systems Advisory Council has been hosting a series of "listening sessions" around the state over the past 6 months to better understand the barriers and opportunities for opening or expanding entry into Colorado-based direct markets for Colorado-grown foods. Please also see a summary of one of our previous listening sessions, held in Pueblo in December.
COFSAC wants to hear from you - those involved with growing, or supporting, urban agriculture across the Front Range. This is your opportunity to share with COFSAC and your colleagues what is and is not working in your particular area of the food system.
Date: Monday May 14thTime: 12pm-2pm
Location: The GrowHaus, 4751 York St, Denver CO 80216
Lunch: A salad bar featuring GrowHaus greens will be available to accompany your brown bag lunch
Tours of The GrowHaus and neighboring Project Angel Heart will be available after the listening session, which will then be followed by a social/networking event at Project Angel Heart (snacks provided).
